We are looking for a passionate, hard-working and Oracle Functional resource who can work with relevant stake holders to lead ongoing projects and participate in BAU tasks. You will get the opportunity to work on Oracle R12 and Fusion applications and few other Procurement and Finance applications. On a day to day basis, the job may entail working as a team to resolve a production issue, analyzing, collaborating with peer groups/functions etc.
Why This Role Is Important To Us
On a day to day basis as a Tech Enablement team member, you will be part of the team responsible for designing, developing, and implementing around Procurement and AP functional areas. You will work closely with senior team members working with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, identify opportunities for automation and process improvement, and deliver solutions that meet their needs.. Your role includes support and maintenance of existing applications and solutions.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- The Sr. Oracle Functional Consultant will support the upgrade from R12 to Oracle Fusion consisting of the implementation and migration into a new business units across Americas and APAC.
- This role possesses an in-depth understanding of all Oracle Self Service Procurement , Oracle Purchasing, Accounts Payables, Payments, Supplier Portal, Supplier Lifecycle Management, Contracts Lifecycle Management.
- This position requires being up to date on current and new functionality. Modules will include: Requisitions for iProcurement, Purchasing, Supplier Hub, Sourcing, Suppler Lifecycle Management, iSupplier Portal, Contract Repository along with FSM and BPM workflow configurations.
- Proficient in BIP and OTBI Reporting.
- The position will interact with internal and external customers on all levels to communicate the question, concerns as well as propose functionality to support the upgrade.
- Will also work closely with Procurement Operations ,IT and peer groups on issue resolution.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities
- Acts as the primary contact for Procurement and AP functionality questions and issues relating to the upgrade.
- Engages appropriate expert resources when complex support issues arise
- Works with the Procurement Operations team and IT to support a successful implementation
- Effectively communicates functionality issues and concerns to the Procurement and AP management team
- Communicates effectively with internal and external customers to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions
Education & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 12-15 years of experience in a similar position in a procurement environment preferred.
Knowledge/Experience/Skills
- The position of Oracle Procurement Functional Consultant requires familiarity with the Oracle Procurement suite of modules along with some of the Finance modules such as Accounts Payable, It also requires core computer and applications competency relevant to the role. Demonstrated ability of successfully working with cross-functional resources.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests to ensure timely response to the users.
- In-depth knowledge of the Procure to Pay process
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-discipline team environment
- Experience in the administration and maintenance of infrastructure, software, systems, etc.
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures including purchasing of goods and services and Accounts Payable (AP)
- Works under general supervision but is expected to use knowledge and experience to provide quality support to the user community
- Ability to extract data from system using BI or SQL
- Configuration and testing experience in Oracles Procurement system
- Core computer and applications competency relevant to role (Including MS Office, especially Excel and Access and SQL)
Additional Requirements Preferred
- Having IT academic background with good knowledge in Object Oriented Concepts, RDBMS, Data Structures.
- Oracle Fusion Certification preferred not mandatory
