Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Oracle Procurement Cloud Specialist with expertise in manufacturing (Mfg.) and demand planning (DP) to manage and optimize procurement processes within Oracle Cloud. This role will focus on leveraging Oracle's suite of procurement tools to ensure efficient sourcing, supplier management, and inventory control, while aligning with manufacturing and demand planning needs. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline procurement operations and support production goals through Oracle Cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:Oracle Procurement Cloud Implementation &; Configuration:
- Configure, implement, and maintain Oracle Procurement Cloud modules tailored for manufacturing and demand planning.
- Support system integration with other Oracle Cloud modules (such as Oracle ERP, Oracle Supply Chain, and Oracle Inventory) to ensure seamless procurement and inventory management processes.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and work with Oracle support to resolve any technical problems.
Procurement Process Management (Manufacturing, DP):
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes within Oracle Procurement Cloud, ensuring seamless integration with manufacturing operations and demand forecasts.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency in purchasing, supplier management, and order processing.
- Work with internal stakeholders, including production, finance, and supply chain teams, to align procurement strategies with manufacturing needs and demand forecasts.
Supplier Management &; Collaboration:
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, quality standards, and compliance with contractual agreements.
- Utilize Oracle Procurement Cloud to manage supplier relationships, assess performance, and resolve issues related to orders, quality, and costs.
- Support supplier negotiation activities using insights from Oracle Cloud data.
Demand Planning &; Inventory Optimization:
- Partner with demand planning teams to ensure that material and product procurement is aligned with production needs and sales forecasts.
- Leverage Oracle Procurement Cloud's forecasting and reporting capabilities to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
- Use Oracle Cloud tools to automate and optimize reorder processes based on real-time demand and supply data.
Data Analysis &; Reporting:
- Generate reports and dashboards using Oracle Cloud analytics tools to track procurement KPIs, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process inefficiencies.
- Use Oracle Cloud's analytics capabilities to provide data-driven recommendations to improve procurement processes.
System Support &; Continuous Improvement:
- Provide day-to-day support to users of Oracle Procurement Cloud, including troubleshooting issues and providing training when needed.
- Continuously monitor the effectiveness of Oracle Procurement Cloud in meeting business objectives and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest Oracle Procurement Cloud features, updates, and best practices.
Collaboration &; Cross-functional Support:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (IT, supply chain, finance, and production) to ensure Oracle Procurement Cloud is aligned with overall business goals.
- Support business stakeholders with any required configuration, system changes, or customizations to Oracle Procurement Cloud.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Oracle Procurement Cloud, with a focus on manufacturing and demand planning processes.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Procurement Cloud modules, including sourcing, purchasing, supplier portal, and inventory management.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud integration with ERP, supply chain, and inventory management systems.
- Familiarity with manufacturing operations and demand planning processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using Oracle Cloud's reporting and analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:- Oracle Cloud certification or training in Procurement Cloud, Supply Chain, or ERP.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud's integration with other systems (e.g., ERP, PLM).
- Familiarity with advanced analytics and reporting tools within Oracle Cloud.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, APICS).
