Intermediate to advanced level skillset in Oracle Cloud (OCI) or Other Cloud platforms
Intermediate to advanced level Oracle Linux (or similar) systems administration (v6, v7, v8) day-to-day operational activities
Install and configure servers and related program products and support tools
Install operating system patches as supplied by the OEM in coordination with database administrator and the applications support staff.
Install and Support Virtualization products - i.e. KVM, Oracle VM
Knowledge in Oracle ZFS storage appliance (or similar)
Support automates processes and maintain the application and OS environments.
Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
Ability to communicate technical information effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to cover on-call rotation for weekends and/or nights as part of a team, including India and US resources. On-call shifts can vary based team composition.
Required Skillset:
Minimum of 5-10 + years of experience in Oracle LINUX Administration, system software installation, customization and support in Oracle Cloud (OCI) and On-Prem Infrastructure.
Experience with Virtualization Technologies (KVM, OVMM, Oracle PCA)
Experience with Storage and backup technologies
