Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS/Cloud/Fusion HRMS Techno-Functional Consultant with expertise in the Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) module. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of both technical and functional skills, enabling them to lead the implementation, customization, and support of the OTL module within Oracle EBS, Cloud, or Fusion environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation & Configuration:
- Lead the full-cycle implementation of the Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) module, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Configure OTL solutions to meet client business needs while ensuring seamless integration with other HRMS modules such as Payroll, Absence Management, and Core HR.
- Technical Development:
- Design and develop custom reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (RICE) using Oracle tools such as SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.
- Work with technical teams to create and modify Oracle Workflow, Alerts, and Personalizations specific to OTL.
- Develop custom solutions using Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and Oracle Fusion Middleware as needed.
- Business Process Analysis:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Provide recommendations for best practices and process improvements based on industry standards and Oracles capabilities.
- Customization & Integration:
- Work with integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between Oracle OTL and other third-party applications or legacy systems.
- Perform customization in OTL to meet specific client requirements, ensuring compliance with Oracle standards and best practices.
- Testing & Troubleshooting:
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the OTL module meets business needs.
- Diagnose and resolve functional and technical issues related to the OTL module, providing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Post-Implementation Support:
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the OTL module, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and enhancements.
- Monitor system performance and implement optimizations as needed to ensure efficient operation.
- Documentation & Training:
- Create detailed documentation for both technical and functional aspects of the OTL module, including design documents, user manuals, and training guides.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and technical teams to ensure they can effectively utilize the OTL module.
- Project Management:
- Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience working with Oracle HRMS, with a specific focus on the Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) module in a techno-functional capacity.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Workflow.
- Experience with Oracle EBS, Cloud, or Fusion HRMS, particularly with the OTL module.
- Knowledge of Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and Oracle Fusion Middleware.
- Experience with APIs, Web Services, and other integration tools.
- Functional Skills:
- Deep understanding of HR and payroll processes, especially time and labor management.
- Proven ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Strong experience with the configuration, customization, and support of the OTL module.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Expert (OCE) in Oracle HRMS or Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Experience: Previous experience in global implementations or working in diverse industry sectors.
- Project Management: PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
