This is a hands-on role for a strong Oracle EPM Technical resource for Essbase, EDMCS, EPCM and PBCS implementation experience. Looking for strong Implementation and Development, Support experience candidate with 10+ years of relevant experience & willingness to learn new technologies and work on stringent timelines.
Education
- MBA Finance /Bachelor's Degree level qualification in a computer or IT related subject. Finance background also applicable.
Responsibilities
- This position is responsible for the design and development of Profitability and Cost management applications.
- Expert in implementing Oracle PCM/EPCM starting from designing allocation rules, building both custom (MDX) rules and allocation rules and rulesets, and fine tune for performance.
- Working on direct integration to ERP GL and other EPM applications using Data Management
- Expert in implementing Oracle PCM/EPCM starting with understanding allocation requirements, complexity, metadata set up to meet requirements and building rules and rules sets. Good understanding of audit trail and balancing reports for allocations.
- Implemented projects with Oracle PCM and developed artifacts starting from Metadata creation/updates, setting up rules, (EPM/EPCM) designing web forms and data grids, creating reports and dashboards.
- Understanding of the financial statements, close cycle, and related best practices
- Experience creating consolidated financial statements for customers.
- Responsible for understanding the project plans, timelines, regular status reports, risk, and issue logs, and working with the appropriate teams to ensure our teams deliver on the required activities and tasks.
- As a subject matter expert, he/she employs independent judgment in guiding moderately complex activities involved in the successful implementation of business solutions, ensuring project quality and timely delivery within budget and customer satisfaction.
Core/Must Have Skills
- Overall 10+ years EPM/PCM experience in the areas of administration, design, analysis, development, and Support of applications in various domains and products related to EPM and PCM.
- Experience in PCM with strong Application Development process experience on Hyperion EPM Product Suite
- Strong experience in PBCS Business rules - Design, Development and performance tuning
- Experience in metadata integration with EDMCS and custom files for EPM modules - PBCS & PCMCS
- Experience in designing and coding batch processes using epmautomate tool for EPM modules - PBCS & PCMCS
- Experience in Requirement Gathering & Solution Design - PCM
- Hands on experience in configuration of rules and rulesets in PCM
- Hands on experience of administrative activities related to PCM.
- Data management skills to create data load rules, mappings and loading of data.
- Desired functional knowledge (Understanding of Chart of Accounts and allocations process)
- Must be able to work independently to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues prior to their occurrence.
- Strong skills across MS word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Office and other collaboration and unified communication tools.
- Should be open to adopt new technologies.
- Must have excellent experience in Oracle EPM applications. Good to have prior Finance modules experience.
- Good knowledge of ITIL concepts (Incident / Problem / Change / Availability Management)
- Should possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Should have a positive attitude.
- Should understand business objectives and organization structure.
- The candidate must have strong work ethics, trustworthiness, and self-confidence.
- The candidate should work accurately with good attention to detail by maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
- Ability to work under pressure to achieve the multiple daily deadlines for client deliverables, with a mature approach & lead the team
