This position requires an experienced Oracle EBS Techno functional specialist (R12) to support and manage
various modules of EBS and provide support to various business users.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
Provide day to day technical / functional support for Oracle EBS
Monitor various critical programs and processes of Oracle EBS
Perform impact analysis of Oracle patches
Pro-actively perform period- end / year end checks
Organize technical team meetings and manage consultant team to adhere SLAs.
Attend daily / weekly conference calls
Assesses and manages technical risk; prepares risk mitigation alternatives and recommends the
appropriate alternative. Escalates significant risks and issues to the program team and leadership
Minimum Qualifications:
6 to 8 years of experience as a Techno Functional Consultant in Development and Support of Oracle EBS
- Release R12
Excellent skills in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Forms & Reports, Distributed Technologies, Workflow, XML
Publisher.
Must have experience in Supporting 24x7 mission critical Oracle EBS Applications.
Must have experience in troubleshooting issues & provide resolution to the end users under high pressure
environments.
Must have knowledge on Oracle Apps Patching process, liaising with Oracle Support.
Should have knowledge in Structured Software Development processes.
Should have good understanding of Linux and shell scripting.
Should have in-depth knowledge of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay processes.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or MCA from a reputed college.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to document and report on defects and other
software issues.
Proven ability to quickly learn new products and processes.
Work with the IT, External Consultant Team and Business Teams to resolve incidents.
