Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and related tools.
  • Monitor database performance and implement tuning measures to optimize efficiency.
  • Perform regular backups, recovery operations, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Develop and implement security policies to protect sensitive data.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, providing support for database-related applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize database queries and improve application performance.
  • Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions, ensuring compliance with security standards.
  • Document database configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with Oracle updates, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills

  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
  • Experience with cloud-based Oracle solutions (e.g., Oracle Cloud).
  • Knowledge of database migration and upgrade processes.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
