Job description
- 6 to 8 years Preference will be for those who have worked as Oracle DBA in Banking and Telecom Domain Oracle databases on Unix Linux and Windows
- Communication skill should be able to collaborate in outage calls effectively Primary Responsibilities Deliverables
- Hands on experience with database standards and end user applications
- RAC as a primary skill or with good knowledge
- Support RAC Standby RMAN data backup OEM and database recovery
- Implement and maintain database security create and maintain users and roles assign privileges
- Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams
- Database Patch Management and Version Control
- Good understanding of the underlying operating system AIX Sun Linux and Windows
- Sound knowledge of both database and system performance tuning
- Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support when required
- Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams
- Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support
- Familiarity with database design documentation and shell PLSQL scripting
