1.About the Job - The candidate should require mandatory Oracle DBA Experience.
2. Job Title Lead Oracle DBA
3. Location - Bangalore, Hyderabad, Noida, Pune, Mumbai and Chennai
4. Educational Background - UG. B.Tech /B.E in any specialization & PG. MCA/MSC in Computers
5. Key Responsibilities -
Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to Oracle database systems, including performance tuning, database crashes, data corruption, and system errors.
Plan, coordinate, and execute Oracle database upgrades & migrations, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity during the process. This includes compatibility testing, applying patches, and migrating data as needed.
Identify and implement performance enhancements for Oracle systems, such as optimizing SQL queries, tuning database parameters, and improving system resource utilization.
Ensure Oracle database systems comply with security policies and standards, implementing security measures to protect sensitive data.
Experience in OEM Installing agents, configuring reports and monitoring through OEM cloud control.
Expert knowledge in ASM & RAC installation, configuration & troubleshooting.
Good Knowledge of cloud technologies.
Risk Analysis and mitigation planning.
Good knowledge of Oracle licensing.
Collaborate with L1 and L2 support teams to resolve escalated incidents in a timely manner and provide clear and effective communication to stakeholders.
6. Skills Required -
Expertise in Configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of Oracle Golden Gate, ODG, Exadata.
Experience in Configuring Shell scripts and PL/SQL Scripts.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Knowledge of Open-source Databases, IBM DB2, MS-SQL and MySQL databases.
7. Additional Requirements -
Maintain accurate records of all support activities, including troubleshooting steps, solutions, and system configurations. Create and update technical documentation as needed.
Stay current with Oracle technologies and industry best practices and propose improvements and enhancements to the Oracle environment.
