Job Responsibilities:

Experience in Oracle DB, production Oracle DBA (12c, 19c) in Oracle and in a Linux/UNIX/Windows environment.

Strong knowledge on UNIX/Linux/Windows to configure, maintain and monitor database instance(s)

Strong knowledge and experience of Oracle Database Administration (11g & 12c,19c).

Install, upgrade, and configure database software and database related application packages.

Experience with Database Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching.

knowledge on oracle RAC. Installation, patching, upgradation and troubleshooting of RAC issues.

Excellent experience in managing physical standby database, snapshot and active data guard using DGMGRL utility or manual method to switchover/failover from primary to standby and vice versa.

Excellent Experience in planning/implementation of backup & recovery strategies using RMAN and Data pump.

Conduct performance tuning activities to identify and resolve database performance issues, optimizing the system performance and efficiency.

Very good experience in analyzing AWR and ASH reports to identify the root causes of slowness.
