Job Description
Require Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with deep understanding of Oracle database technologies across multiple versions, strong technical skills in installation, configuration, backup/recovery, performance tuning, and high availability solutions like RAC and Data Guard. Certification, Linux proficiency, and scripting expertise.
Role: Oracle DBA (male candidate preferred)
Level: L2

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA (IT/Computer Science)
Certification: OCR or OCP (Optional)

Relevant Experience: minimum 5 years
Technical Competency:
1. Expertise in Oracle Architecture 11g,12c,19c.
2. Must have Good Knowledge of Oracle Installation, Upgrade, Patching, Migration.
3. Good Hands-on Experience related to Oracle Backup/Recovery.
4. Good Knowledge on managing RAC instances, ASM and Data Guard administration.
5. Must have good exposure of Backup and Recovery (Oracle RMAN, Import/Export and Data pump).
6. Good Hands-on Experience on Performance Tuning, Capacity Planning.
7. Must certified in OCA/OCP (optional)
8. Must have strong knowledge of Linux and Shell Scripting
Responsibilities:
1. Perform Day to Day Oracle Admin activities listed in competencies
2. Provide support to customer on Oracle configuration/settings
3. Individual contributor and work in 24 x 7 environment
4. Manage database objects like tablespace, user, table, Index, roles, privileges, profiles, DB Links, materialized views, partitioning, synonyms, sequences, views and indexes and other database objects.
5. Good exposure of Backup and Recovery (Oracle RMAN, Import/Export and Datapump)
6. Database housekeeping activity (purging, index rebuilding, reorganization, gathering statistics).
7. Must have Good Exposure on Writing scripts for Backup and Scheduling Backups on Servers.
8. Experience in installation, configuration and upgradation administration of Oracle databases 11g,12c,19c on Aix/Linux environments.
9. Hands on experience on physical/logical standby database and performing switch-over and fail-over.
