Oracle Database Administrator

Database and System Administrator should provide highly specialized technical expertise to handle System and Database Administrator challenges.

b. The day-to-day tasks, including monitoring of system and DB activities, analysis of utilization of resources, capacity control, performance tuning, co-ordination for system and database updates/upgrades, fixes, installation and configuration of virtual machines, supporting applications and middleware, addition/ deletion/modification of users, generation of reports, database backup and replication would be responsibility of Database and System administrator

c. He should have extensive knowledge of System and Database administration

d. Administration of Email/Messaging system. Good knowledge of SMTP, DNS, IMAP/POP, LDAP/Directory services etc.

e. Should be qualified as B.E./ B. Tech / MCA from reputed university

f. Preferable have Linux /Unix certification on industry standard database
