We are seeking an L3 DB profiles with Expertise in
MS SQL and knowledge of Oracle would be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Database Administration: Manage and maintain SQL Server databases along with lower versions, including installation, configuration, and upgradesmigrations.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize database performance through query tuning, index management, and server configuration.
- SQL Replication: Implement and manage SQL replication, including transactional and snapshot replication, to ensure data consistency and availability. Extensive experience with SQL replication technology is mandatory.
- Azure Cloud: Utilize Azure Cloud services to deploy, manage, and optimize SQL databases in a cloud environment. This includes Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and other related services.
- Backup and Recovery: Develop and manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection and business continuity.
- Security Management: Implement and enforce database security policies, including user access control and encryption.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor database performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to resolve problems promptly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in writing automation scripts, building dashboards for proactive monitoring using PowerShell,
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to get to the route of an issue quickly.
