Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud Technical Specialist to join our IT team. This role requires deep technical knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Cloud applications, including their architecture, deployment, integration, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Oracle Cloud services, ensuring the technical environment is optimized, secure, and scalable to support business applications.
Key Responsibilities:Oracle Cloud Architecture &; Configuration:
- Design and implement Oracle Cloud solutions, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle ERP, Oracle HCM, Oracle SCM, and other Oracle Cloud services.
- Configure and deploy Oracle Cloud environments to support business requirements, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Manage the lifecycle of cloud environments, from provisioning to decommissioning, ensuring seamless transitions between environments (e.g., dev, test, prod).
Integration &; Customization:
- Integrate Oracle Cloud applications with on-premise systems, third-party tools, and other cloud services.
- Develop and deploy custom configurations, reports, dashboards, and integrations within Oracle Cloud applications.
- Use Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, and web services to enable seamless data exchange between systems.
Cloud Security &; Compliance:
- Implement security best practices and compliance standards within the Oracle Cloud environment, including user authentication, data encryption, and access control.
- Manage and configure Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM), ensuring appropriate access levels and data security for cloud resources.
- Stay updated on Oracle Cloud security features and compliance regulations to ensure the environment meets industry standards.
Performance Monitoring &; Optimization:
- Monitor and optimize the performance of Oracle Cloud services, ensuring that resources are effectively utilized and performance is aligned with business expectations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle Cloud applications, infrastructure, or integrations.
- Use Oracle Cloud monitoring tools to analyze system metrics, detect anomalies, and take corrective actions.
Cloud Migration &; Implementation:
- Assist with the migration of on-premise applications to Oracle Cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Provide technical expertise in cloud adoption, guiding teams through the implementation of Oracle Cloud solutions across the organization.
Automation &; Scripting:
- Develop scripts using languages such as Python, Shell, or other automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance cloud operations.
- Automate provisioning, scaling, and management of cloud infrastructure using Oracle Cloud tools like Oracle Cloud Automation and Oracle Cloud Functions.
Collaboration &; Support:
- Work closely with functional teams (e.g., ERP, HCM, Finance, Supply Chain) to gather technical requirements and implement Oracle Cloud solutions that align with business needs.
- Provide technical support for Oracle Cloud applications and troubleshoot issues related to Oracle Cloud environments and integrations.
- Train and mentor junior technical staff on Oracle Cloud technologies and best practices.
Documentation &; Reporting:
- Create detailed technical documentation for Oracle Cloud setups, configurations, integrations, and processes.
- Prepare regular reports on cloud performance, cost optimization, security compliance, and project progress for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Cloud applications (e.g., Oracle ERP, Oracle HCM, Oracle SCM).
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, deployment, and management in Oracle Cloud.
- Experience with cloud integrations (Oracle Integration Cloud, APIs, and web services).
- Proficiency with cloud security, identity management, and compliance tools within Oracle Cloud.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with experience resolving technical issues related to Oracle Cloud.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud tools like OCI Console, Oracle Cloud Monitoring, and Oracle Autonomous Database.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:- Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect, Oracle Cloud Applications, Oracle Cloud Integration).
- Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar cloud automation technologies.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools in a cloud environment.
- Experience with database management and optimization in Oracle Cloud environments.
