Job Description

As an Oracle Financials Consultant, you will design and deliver to support Oracle Cloud ERP implementations.
We seek an Oracle Cloud Lead Financial Consultant with experience in the following (and in order of importance for success in this role):
  • General Ledger, Chart of Accounts, Intercompany Accounting
  • Cash Management
  • Fixed Assets
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Accounts Payable
  • Preferred: Grants Management
  • Preferred: Project Management
Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business processes, financial reporting needs, and strategic goals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on Oracle Cloud Financial capabilities.

System Configuration and Customization:

  • Configure and customize Oracle Cloud Financial applications to meet client-specific requirements.
  • Implement changes in response to evolving business needs, ensuring optimal system performance.

Managed Services Operations:

  • Contribute to the day-to-day operations of Oracle Cloud Financial within a managed services framework.
  • Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and participate in continuous service improvement initiatives.

Issue Resolution and Support:

  • Provide timely support for Oracle Cloud Financial-related issues, collaborating with team members to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Follow best practices for incident and problem management.

Optimization and Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for system optimization and efficiency gains within Oracle Cloud Financial.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of managed services.

Training and Documentation:

  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and client teams on Oracle Cloud Financial functionalities.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, customizations, and client-specific processes.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical support, development, and project management teams.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, issues, and resolutions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Three to Five years of proven experience with Oracle Cloud Financial, including implementation and support.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and reporting requirements.
  • Prior experience working with US local governments, higher education, and K-12s, preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with managed services operations and adherence to SLAs.
  • Oracle Cloud Financials certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud SCM and EPM is a plus.
