Majara Dairy Farm (MDF), dist. Ludhiana, Punjab, was home to the nations first private sector bovine IVF project in 2011 with technical support from Vitrogen of Brazil.
In total there were 37 calvings but unfortunately when the foreign technicians departed the KPIs nose-dived and the project closed.
The project is now being reactivated and key IVF professionals are required.
The focus will be the transfer of fresh embryos to surrogates displaying natural heat. To the extent possible we seek to minimise stimulation of donors and programming of recipients.
MDF is one of the largest dairy farms in the country and donors will be from the top 10% yield livestock with lactation yields exceeding 10,000 kg. Combining this with sexed semen with TPI values >3000 should deliver industry leading pedigree.
If bovine IVF is your passion we can provide you with the right opportunity to accelerate your career.
