Job Description: Optometrist
We are seeking a highly skilled optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting eye exams, diagnosing and treating vision problems, prescribing corrective lenses, and providing excellent patient care. The optometrist will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams
- Diagnose and treat vision problems, including nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism
- Prescribe corrective lenses and provide contact lens fittings
- Identify and manage eye diseases, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
- Provide exceptional patient care and customer service
Requirements:
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited school of optometry
- Active state optometry license
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
