Description

We are seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team in India. The ideal candidate should have 2-12 years of experience in the job market context of India and be highly skilled in providing eye care services. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a diverse range of patients. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team to provide quality eye care services to patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and vision tests to determine the correct prescription for glasses or contact lenses
• Diagnose and treat eye diseases, infections, and injuries
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery
• Prescribe and fit glasses or contact lenses
• Educate patients on proper eye care and hygiene
• Maintain accurate patient records and charts
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Optometry
• Valid license to practice as an Optometrist in India
• 2-12 years of experience in the job market context of India
• Excellent knowledge of eye anatomy, physiology, and diseases
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with a diverse range of patients
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) is preferred
