The OPT Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and placing international students on Optional Practical Training (OPT) programs in various roles within our organization or with our clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the OPT process, strong communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with both candidates and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and identify potential OPT candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, university career centers, and professional networks.
- Screen and interview candidates to assess their qualifications, skills, and cultural fit for available positions.
- Assist candidates with the OPT application process, ensuring they have all necessary documentation and understand the requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, and other educational institutions to create a pipeline of OPT candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide qualified candidates for consideration.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and placements in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the hiring process, including resume reviews, interview preparation, and offer negotiations.
- Stay updated on current regulations and trends related to OPT and international student employment.
