The Ops Sup Analyst 1 is a position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to; reconciliation of GL's, completion of journals basis investigation completed, completing documentation related to the investigations. Additionally, the Ops Sup Analyst 1 serves as the liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians and clients. The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.

nResponsibilities:
- nReconciliation and Resolution of General Ledger outages and supervise escalated issues, providing efficient and effective service to Citi's clients
- nRecommending new work procedures to help streamline operations
- nComprehensive knowledge of General Ledger Reconciliation / Research / Investigation process across multiple applications
- nCommunicate daily with management on productivity, quality, availability, Management Information System (MIS) indicators, as well as providing written and oral communications to supported business areas for approval of correct financial entries and resolution of incorrect entries
- nAnalyze operations information and make evaluative judgements to solve problems
- nResponsible for identifying and resolving routine problems and operational issues with broader departmental impact within established procedures
- nSupport expansive and diverse array of products and services
- nAssist with ongoing Lean and process improvement projects
- nResolve complex problems based on best practice/precedence, escalating as needed
- nServe as a backup for manager, as needed, Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as
neffectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards - nComplete unit level deliverables assigned for the role
nQualifications:
- nPrevious relevant experience preferred
- nProficient in Microsoft Office
- nAbility to work unsupervised and apply problem solve capabilities
- nAbility to work occasional weekends to support COB testing
- nDemonstrated analytical skills and mathematical knowledge
- nConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
nEducation:
- nBachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
