The position of Ophthalmologist Phaco Surgeon is an important role within our healthcare organization located in Devangere, Karnataka. The Ophthalmologist Phaco Surgeon is responsible for providing specialized surgical and medical eye care to patients with a focus on phacoemulsification surgery for cataracts and comprehensive eye care.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing phacoemulsification surgery for cataracts with precision and attention to detail
- Conducting comprehensive eye examinations and diagnosing ocular diseases and conditions
- Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with eye disorders and injuries
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care
- Participating in clinical research and staying updated with advancements in ophthalmology
- Providing pre-operative and post-operative care to patients undergoing eye surgeries
- Using advanced diagnostic equipment to assess and monitor patients eye health
- Participating in educational initiatives for patients, medical students, and healthcare professionals
- Ensuring compliance with medical and ethical standards in patient care and surgical procedures
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree in Ophthalmology
- Completion of a residency program in Ophthalmology
- Board certification in Ophthalmology
- Valid medical license to practice as an Ophthalmologist in Karnataka
- Demonstrated expertise in phacoemulsification surgery and other ophthalmic surgical procedures
- Proven track record of providing exceptional patient care and achieving positive outcomes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
- Understanding of healthcare compliance regulations and ethical standards
