Overview
As an Ophthalmologist at our OPD Sarjapur road location, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional eye care services to our patients. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical care, and building strong patient relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose and treat eye conditions
- Perform various eye surgeries, including cataract surgery and laser eye surgery
- Prescribe and administer appropriate medications and treatments
- Monitor and manage post-operative care for patients
- Provide consultation and referral services to other healthcare professionals
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment such as OCT and fundus cameras
- Educate patients on proper eye care and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in continuous medical education and stay updated with the latest advancements in ophthalmology
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Adhere to medical ethics and professional standards at all times
- Contribute to the development of SOPs and clinical protocols
- Participate in community outreach programs and health education initiatives
- Provide mentorship and supervision to medical staff and residents
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
- Residency training in ophthalmology from an accredited program
- Board certification in ophthalmology
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration
- Proven experience in performing a wide range of ophthalmic surgeries
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills
- Strong understanding of ocular diseases and treatment options

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
