Operations Manager

Rooftop is one of the leading startups bridging Indian art to the world. Through online workshops and immersive art courses, Rooftop is creating an ecosystem of art lovers and artists where they can interact, learn and share their knowledge with each other.

To build and engage this rich artist community, we are looking for an Engagement Manager who will play a vital role in managing and hosting art workshops by ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for all participants. The candidate's responsibilities will include interacting with workshop attendees, building engagement strategies, and fostering a sense of community among participants through WhatsApp groups and other channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and host art workshops, ensuring smooth execution and quality experiences for participants.
• Engage with workshop attendees, providing guidance and support throughout their artistic journey.
• Create and implement innovative engagement strategies to keep participants actively involved and motivated.
• Cultivate strong relationships with artists, convincing them to collaborate with Rooftop and contribute to our vision.
• Encourage regular participants to subscribe to Rooftop's offerings and participate in multiple workshops.
• Handle communication and calls with artists and participants professionally and persuasively.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote workshops and increase participation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the arts and culture sector to enhance workshop experiences.

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with artists and participants effectively.
• Strong convincing abilities to encourage artists to collaborate and participants to take up subscriptions.
• A passion for art and an understanding of traditional Indian art forms are preferred.
• Previous experience in the arts and culture sector is an advantage.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, adapt quickly, and handle multiple tasks.
• A proven track record of successfully organizing events or workshops is a plus.

Our Journey

Rajasthan Studio began its journey in 2019 from a small working space in Jaipur, Rajasthan, linking the travel and art sectors together to offer offbeat travel experiences through personalized masterclass workshops. During the pandemic, we decided to scale our business through virtual art experiences, giving birth to the idea of the Rooftop. Over the last 3 years, we have grown to over 60 employees working from our Jaipur and Mumbai offices.
