Your role and responsibilities
As the Operation Manager for the Sales & Solutions business line within the Distribution Solution division, you will oversee all operational aspects of our local unit. This includes managing manufacturing, production engineering, procurement, quality, testing, logistics, warehouse management, and fulfillment. Your focus will be on aligning unit operations with strategic business goals while emphasizing continuous improvement and operational excellence. The work model for the role is -Onsite. This role is contributing to Our Electrification Business Nashik, India. You will be mainly accountable for:
- Operation Management: Oversee the complete operation of Compact Substation, E-House, and NSPP product lines.
- Vendor Management: Maintain effective communication with vendors, define scopes of work, control costs, minimize risks, and ensure timely service delivery.
- Subcontracting Expertise: Utilize extensive experience in managing subcontracting business models.
- Manufacturing Planning: Monitor and implement the monthly manufacturing plan, ensuring all deliverables are tracked and met.
- Budget Management: Operate within allocated budgets and resources while maximizing efficiency.
Qualifications For The Role
- 15 to 18 years in operations, covering manufacturing, procurement, quality, testing, continuous improvement, warehouse management, logistics, and planning.
- Sub-Contracting: Preference for candidates with experience in subcontractor business models.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of MV switchgear, transformers, and low voltage products; knowledge of power systems is crucial.
- Project Management: Proven experience handling larger, complex projects and managing third-party vendors.
- Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, especially in a global context.
