Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Jaipur, Sitapura
Role Summary:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all operational activities within the jewelry manufacturing industry. This individual will report directly to the Director and will serve as the primary connection between all departments.
Responsibilities:
Operations Management: Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the jewelry manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient and effective processes across all departments.
Develop and implement operational strategies and plans to drive productivity, improve operational efficiency, and achieve business goals.
Monitor and evaluate manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to optimize operational performance.
Collaborate with department heads to ensure smooth coordination between all departments, including production, procurement, quality control, and logistics.
Streamline operations processes to maximize productivity and minimize waste, ensuring the highest level of quality in jewelry manufacturing.
Team Leadership: Provide effective leadership, guidance, and coaching to the operations team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Recruit, train, and develop team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Set performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback, conducting regular performance evaluations to reward achievements and address areas for improvement.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging teamwork, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among the operations team.
Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans and business initiatives in alignment with the company's vision and goals.
Collaborate with the Director and other senior leaders to develop long-term operational strategies and objectives.
Participate in the budgeting process to ensure resource allocation aligns with operational priorities and goals.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, recommending innovative solutions and technologies to improve operational processes and capabilities.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor operational performance metrics and provide regular reports to the Director, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track operational effectiveness, identifying trends and taking proactive measures to address any deviations.
Prepare and present comprehensive reports, including operational performance, to the Director and key stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the jewelry manufacturing industry, with a proven track record in operations management.
Extensive knowledge of jewelry manufacturing processes, including production planning, procurement, quality control, and logistics.
Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management.
Results-driven mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, but not mandatory.
