Grow Your Staff is looking for an Operations Manager for a custom apparel company in New York, USA. The position is a full-time remote opportunity.
The role will have excellent growth opportunities. You will work directly with the team based in New York.
Experience required: 5 years+
CTC: INR 12-18 LPA
Location: Remote
Time- 6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST (Monday - Friday)
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of a designated area within the supply chain, including project management and cross-functional requests.
- Plan and allocate headcount to ensure efficient team structure and future readiness.
- Oversee and guide a team of Operations Associates to maximize their potential.
- Manage effective communication channels with vendors and customers.
- Handle team escalations and resolve any logistical challenges promptly.
- Set, track, and analyze team performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure that all operational and strategic goals are consistently achieved.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports to provide feedback and support development.
- Collaborate closely with the Associate Director of Operations for alignment and support.
- Lead initiatives to enhance processes, making the supply chain more resilient and scalable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in operations and supply chain management, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role
- Proven ability to make independent decisions and work autonomously
- Skilled in negotiating and achieving positive outcomes
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
