Responsibilities
What You'll Be Doing:
- Strategic Leadership: Steer the facility towards operational excellence by aligning with our global business strategies. Your role is key in shaping our operational footprint and ensuring the facility's mission and objectives are met comprehensively.
- Cultural Stewardship: Embed a culture of zero harm and continuous improvement by leading safety initiatives and promoting a proactive safety mindset across all levels. You will be pivotal in nurturing an environment that values open communication, collaboration, and respect.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure the plant operates efficiently under your guidance, meeting all production and financial targets. Implement cutting-edge manufacturing strategies and lead continuous improvement efforts using Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence tools.
- People Management: Develop a robust team dynamic, focusing on talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement. Your leadership will ensure that our teams are empowered, skilled, and aligned with our core values.
- Community and Environmental Leadership: Act as a responsible leader by promoting sustainable practices and engaging with local community initiatives that align with our corporate social responsibilities.

What You'll Bring:
- Experience: Proven track record as an Operations Manager or Plant Head, preferably in the materials science, mechanical, or ceramic engineering industries. Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
- Education: A degree in Engineering or MBA, with a strong grasp of operational excellence tools.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, adept at driving change and fostering an environment where safety and quality are paramount.
