The Operations Executive for Diamond in India will be responsible for overseeing and improving the entire lifecycle of Diamond operations. This includes managing Buying, consignment, order fulfillment, and vendor relationships to reduce inefficiencies and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will tackle complex logistical challenges, enhance supplier communication, and support the development of streamlined processes to improve quality, timeliness, and accuracy in operations.

What you'll do:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee Diamond Operations (20%)
Manage daily operations, focusing on Order creations, Connecting with the supplier for the right product, Completing the special request orders, Matching quality in order fulfillment.
- Drive Process Improvement (15%)
Identify and resolve disorganized and inefficiency
- Enhance QC Processes (15%)
Implement quality improvement measures to address high rates of mismatches, reorders, and poor stone quality & consistent reporting to management
- Optimize Shipping and Logistics (15%)
Address avoidable delays in routing and shipping across regions, including consignment and order shipments
- Improve Supplier Relationships and Communication (10%)
Collaborate closely with suppliers to enhance communication, reduce pricing mismatches, and ensure timely and accurate consignment delivery
- Track and meet Key Metrics (10%)
Meet KPIs and monitor key operational areas such as processing times, QC accuracy rates, and supplier performance
- Collaborate with Senior Management on Strategic Initiatives (10%)
Coordinate with leadership on initiatives like market expansion and consignment selection/replenishment system, new customer offerings
- Support Finance with Accurate Costing and Pricing (5%)
Minimize pricing mismatches by streamlining supplier communication and implementing checks to reduce financial losses.
What you'll need:
- 1+ years in operations, preferably within the diamond/jewelry industry
- Strong experience with quality control processes and international logistics for high-value goods
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Proven problem-solving skills, especially in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for tracking metrics and performance analysis
- High attention to detail, integrity, and professionalism
