Company Description
Carbon Circle builds, owns and operates Renewable Natural Gas (also known as CBG) projects in India. These facilities convert organic matter in agricultural residues, industrial wastes, energy crops into biogas which is then upgraded to RNG.
RNG is a green alternative for Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Piped Natural Gas (PNG), and hence decarbonises transportation and heating (industrial, domestic) applications.
Organic manure is a byproduct from our facilities. A typical plant produces 10 Tonnes Per Day of RNG and 40 Tonnes Per Day of organic manure.
Our first plant is operational in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh since August 2024.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Operations and Maintenance Engineer at Carbon Circle in Gurugram. The Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, electrical engineering, and maintenance management on a day-to-day basis.
Roles & Resp:
- Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of all equipmentin the area of responsibility to the highest standards of the industry.
- Maintain up-to-date engineering design standards and plant design documents, in both paper and electronic copies.
- Compile marked-up drawings and maintain up to date red-lined drawings of basic design documents (PID, PFD, Instrument loops sheets, and motor schematics).
- Maintain equipment files, Production logbook and repair records of equipment in the plant and up-to-date departmental procedures and controlled documents.
- Leader in the efforts of the team to accomplish the goals stated in the Team Charter.
- Make recommendations to the Manager for corrective measures that will result in greater efficiency, quality, and economy of operations.
- During capital projects, he may be called on for consultation, or for assisting in the selection and installation of new equipment.
- Provide engineering analysis and recommendations in problem-solving efforts to ensure that all aspects of problems, including safety and environmental concerns, are addressed.
- This work includes conceptual and detailed design development, finding and solving the root causes of engineering or equipment problems and developing interim solutions that are needed to maintain safe operation of the plant.M

ust have 5-7yrs of relevant experience.Must have BE/BTech/Diploma in mechanical engineeringExpertise in the operation, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment to ensure continuous operation.Proficiency in preventative and predictive maintenance strategies, root cause analysis, and downtime minimization.Knowledge of engineering design standards, equipment safety regulations, and operational best practices.Familiarity with Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metrics and optimization strategies.Ability to analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and make informed recommendations.Experience in overseeing maintenance schedules and capital projects.Proficiency in addressing operational challenges and implementing corrective measures promptly.Leadership & Team managementFamiliarity with maintenance management software, such as Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Awareness of workplace safety protocols and compliance with industry regulations.
