What you will be doing
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delegating all shipments that enter into the building to operations staff. Reviewing the outbound flight monitor and prioritize jobs. Monitoring / answering notes Assist other offices/departments with Operational Questions Ensuring the operation and maintenance of equipment within the facility Training and mentoring staff on operations procedures. Delegating the responsibilities within a given shift Overseeing the compliance with all TSA regulations Ensuring the management of cold chain shipments Ensuring a safe work environment Trouble shooting, problem management, issue resolution Monitoring shipment notes in the ok to send process Monitoring Ops emails and responding in a timely manner. Processing shipments when needed Reviewing all shipments before they are dispatched for tender Manage personnel issues Provide feedback on Associate performance and development Communicate all issues/problems/concerns/suggestions with Management Participate in vendor meetings when necessary Ability to provide training and oversee special projects
What your background should look like
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Operational Experience
Bachelors Degree preferred
REPORTS DIRECTLY TO:
Forwarding and Receiving Manager
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Professional demeanor Mastery of Operations Skill Levels 1,2,3 Dangerous Goods Certification Ability to provide leadership, multitask and prioritize workload Mastery of Cold Chain Management Mastery of World Courier Operating Systems Above average computer skills with proficiency in Excel
