Supervising all Logistics operations: shipment planning and execution, order processing, order control, carrier selection, freight negotiation, transportation claims, distribution center.- warehouse performance and other support functions.
Managing trailers
- Follow up on shipment status and ensure delivery dates are met
Working closely with vendors/Customers/sales teams to manage delivery issues for inbound and domestic shipment transportation, custom and related issues- Liaise with the relevant internal and external parties and help prepare delivery documentation, maintain records, and coordinate logistics for product shipment
Work, train & manage the team to ensure all of them are aligned to the goals set. Regular feedback to the team to take corrective actions on gaps identified
- Identify process gaps, suggest, and implement process improvement
Driving Cost and Timeliness of the dispatches- Publishing Monthly/Weekly Reports, Alerts, Dashboard as per requirement
Should have knowledge of transportation in CFS around Whitefileld
- Should relocate in Banglore in company flat
Job Requirement
- Have 3-5 years experience in the Logistics domain.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
