Job Description

Overview

The Operation Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring efficient and effective business processes and procedures. They are responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing resources, and contributing to the overall success of the company.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies and objectives to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage and optimize internal processes and workflows to achieve operational excellence.
  • Lead and motivate a team of staff members to ensure performance targets are met.
  • Oversee and manage operational budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and financial efficiency.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational performance and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze key operational metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Resolve operational issues and challenges in a timely and effective manner.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies to improve operational processes and efficiency.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
  • Implement best practices for operational management and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and participate in special projects and initiatives to support business growth and development.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations Management, or relevant field.
  • Proven experience in an operations management role or similar position.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, process improvement, and project management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-driven approach.
  • Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and utilize insights to drive operational decisions.
  • Proficiency in using operational management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and standards for operational excellence.
  • Proven track record of achieving operational targets and KPIs.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business and operational environments.
  • Certification in operations management or related field is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
