Job Overview
We are hiring an Operation Executive (Travel) to support our travel operations. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing various travel activities, ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time position based in Siliguri, West Bengal, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Junior-level position with 1 to 3 years of experience in travel operations or a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of travel booking systems and tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and travel partners.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in travel bookings and documentation.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage travel operations, including flight bookings, hotel reservations, and cab services.
- Ensure smooth and efficient travel arrangements for customers by handling their queries and providing assistance as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of travel bookings, cancellations, and changes.
- Collaborate with airlines, hotels, and other travel partners to negotiate contracts and secure the best deals.
- Resolve any issues or complaints related to travel bookings and provide prompt solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout the travel process.
- Stay updated with the latest travel trends and industry developments to provide the best possible service to customers.
- Assist in the development and implementation of travel policies and procedures.
- Provide support to the sales team by preparing travel itineraries, cost estimates, and other relevant documents.
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with customers, travel partners, and colleagues.
