Job Overview
Join us as an Openshift Administrator in our dynamic team. This mid-level position is offered on a Contract-To-Hire basis, located in Chennai or Mumbai. You will manage OpenShift clusters and support cloud-native deployments. You should bring a maximum of 6 years of work experience and be skilled in Kubernetes, Linux, and Security among others to excel in this role.
Qualifications And Skills
- Kubernetes experience is required for managing containerized applications at scale (Mandatory skill).
- Proficiency in Linux system administration for managing server environments (Mandatory skill).
- Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud and containerized environments (Mandatory skill).
- Skilled in Docker for containerization and application deployment processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems within complex IT infrastructures.
- Experience with Hem for managing Kubernetes applications through templated configurations.
- Proficient in using OpenShift for managing containerized applications and orchestrating workloads.
- Capable of integrating with other cloud-native tools and automated deployment environments.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain OpenShift clusters, ensuring high availability and security compliance.
- Coordinate with development teams to integrate applications into OpenShift environments.
- Monitor and optimize system performance for efficient resource utilization.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment procedures and management tasks.
- Implement security policies and encryption techniques to safeguard data and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud-native architectures and deployments.
- Document configurations, processes, and provide training to team members as necessary.
