This position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and Management. This position owns the whole gamut of HR functions like Employee Engagement, Payroll Management, Employee connect and Policy development for our Ops Business Unit.
Job Description:
- Manages the engagement activities like Rewards & recognition program, weekly/monthly floor activities, regular meetings with the individuals from the business unit
- Establish and develop relationship with senior management and HR Business Partners to understand the key resource issues and associated requirements to meet both current and future organizational challenges.
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process including liaising with the vendor for pay register, timely administration of statutory remittances, and management of all audit queries related to payroll/benefit/compensation accounts in collaboration with the payroll vendor.
- Provide payroll inputs like headcount, resigned, hold and LOP details of employees, also have handled third party payroll management.
- Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Analyses trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Works closely with managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Handling Onboarding: Ensures that the new joiners have best onboarding experience
- Manages the new joiner's induction training for the business functions.
- Conduct regular employee feedback surveys and implement action plans based on results.
- Keep planning trainings based on feedback of managers & employee connects.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
- Lead and participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness for Ops Business Unit.
Desired Candidate Profile
- MBA with total exp. of 8 - 12 years in HR functions
- A minimum 5 years of experience as HR Manager
- Who must have handled the business units like: Operations/Customer support/Voice or non-voice processes.
- Who must have handled employee size of 500-700 along with team.
- Experience in managing a team of HR operations and as individual contributor.
- Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written.
- Must be highly self-motivated, proactive and self-sufficient.
