Role Overview
Main objective / purpose of the role
This role sits within our healthcare specialised operations team based in Mumbai, India.
Working UK hours - The main responsibility of this role is it to manage our open-end coding offer using ascribe
We manage online, offline, and mixed-mode projects- working on a diverse range of jobsmeaning no one day will be the same. The projects are varied and challenging, and you will have huge opportunities to grow your knowledge in this area.
Key working relationships -
Working closely with the UK PM team and external coding teams managing open end coding for all projects, as well as being responsible for ensuring outputs are delivered time, to specification and within budget.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations
(Include 10-15 principal areas)
Coding Open end responses and Other specify responses with high accuracy and detail.
Should be able to develop codebook specific to projects, healthcare experience beneficial
Should be familiar with auto coding feature on Ascribe
Review work post coding, e.g. Look for duplicate codes post coding, clean other specify code, etc.
Maintain/create Nets and Subnets structure.
Maintain consistency with previous code frames and response coding.
Adhere to procedures like communication protocols and operational practices
Undertaking and working to Client Adverse Event (AE) trainings
Report AEs in overall data.
Help in providing competitive and accurate quotations for new coding projects
Working with vendors and quality checking their work
Ensure all coding tasks are carried out within the agreed timeline.
Ensure the provision of qualityoutput, matched to our ISO 20252 standard.
Work in Mumbai to UK-based client requirements and UK-based management.
Skills & Experience
Should have minimum 2-3 years of experience in open end coding using Ascribe.
Any other coding software experience beneficial but not essential
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Sets high standards of performance for oneself.
Adaptability Efficient under pressure, always meet deadlines
Critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills.
Able to demonstrate effective control, objectivity, self-reliance and professional behaviour during busy periods and in general
Experienced within a co-ordination/deadline-driven environment
Good knowledge of using Microsoft office packages
Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
