About The Role

As a member of the Open Research team you will support the University's drive towards open access, particularly the wide dissemination of research publications and other research outputs. Your role will include advocacy for open access in all areas of the institution; support and advice for researchers navigating the fast-changing open access landscape, particularly when meeting funder requirements for open access and overseeing the administration of University budgets for open access publishing.

The post holder will be responsible for line management of a member of the Open Research Team.

We are looking for inspiring, credible and authentic candidates who, along with their specialist knowledge, are able to create a culture of digital innovation.

You will have experience of working with a service supporting open access and an in-depth knowledge of current issues in scholarly communication.

With a customer focussed approach, you will have an understanding of researcher's needs and workflows around research dissemination and outputs.
