Experience: 5 to 7 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
- Drive and perform analysis of the requirements for the application.
- Execute test cases manually and analyze results to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
- Identify and report defects, track issues, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct regression testing to verify software functionality after modifications or enhancements.
- Perform sanity testing to ensure the stability of software builds.
- Demonstrate familiarity with client-server architecture and its implications on testing procedures.
- Adhere to QA best practices, methodologies, and industry standards throughout the testing process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide input on testing strategies.
- Continuously improve testing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in manual testing of software applications, preferably in a dynamic agile environment.
- Working experience in agile software development setup along with participation in different ceremonies.
- Strong understanding of different types of testing, including regression and sanity testing.
- Hands-on experience in non-functional testing types
- Familiarity with client-server architecture and its impact on testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of QA best practices, methodologies, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good exposure and experience in writing SQL queries is mandatory. SQL scripting Knowledge or experience with database testing
