One Looker Specialist

We seek a highly skilled and experienced One Looker Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Looker dashboard creation, Snowflake, and business intelligence concepts. They should be proficient in SQL, particularly complex joins, and have experience extracting data from Snowflake. The One Looker Specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining Looker dashboards, integrating them with user interfaces, and ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.

About the Role:

Location: Bangalore

Timings: Day Shift

Notice Period: within 15 days or immediate joiner

Experience: 5 to 7 Years overall. Relevant 3 to 4 years experience.

Note: You can look for candidates - Data engineers with experience in Python and Looker.

Primary Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Looker Experience: 3-4 years of relevant experience working with Looker and databases.
• Python Knowledge: Fair understanding and practical experience.
• SQL Proficiency: Advanced knowledge, including complex joins and query optimization.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• BI Tools Experience: Experience working with other business intelligence tools.
• Certifications: Certification in Looker or Snowflake is preferred.
• Snowflake Integration: Strong understanding of Snowflake and its integration with Looker

Key Responsibilities

Looker Dashboard Development: Design and develop Looker dashboards to meet business requirements.

User Interface Integration: Integrate Looker dashboards with user interfaces for seamless data visualization.

SQL Utilization: Utilize SQL, including complex joins, to extract and manipulate data from Snowflake.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable insights.

Performance Optimization: Maintain and optimize the performance of Looker dashboards.

Data Storage Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of data storage structures and processes within Looker and Snowflake.

User Training: Provide training and support to users on Looker dashboards and data extraction techniques.
