Job Overview:
The Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring candidates move smoothly from the initial application stage to their successful joining. This role focuses on key onboarding activities and internal recruitment, excluding direct involvement in interviews and post-joining employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidate Sourcing and Screening Coordination:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and create job postings.
- Coordinate with sourcing teams or external agencies to attract potential candidates.
- Ensure timely communication and scheduling for initial screening processes.
- Interview Coordination:
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Ensure all necessary documentation and information are provided to candidates before interviews.
- Follow up with interviewers to collect feedback and update candidate status in the system.
- Offer Management:
- Prepare and send offer letters to selected candidates.
- Manage the offer acceptance process, addressing any candidate queries or concerns.
- Ensure all pre-employment checks and paperwork are completed before the start date.
- Onboarding Preparation and Coordination:
- Develop and execute a detailed onboarding plan for new hires.
- Coordinate with HR, IT, and facilities to ensure all necessary equipment, systems access, and workspace are ready for new hires.
- Organize and distribute onboarding materials, including company policies, procedures, and training schedules.
- Pre-Joining Follow-Up:
- Maintain regular communication with candidates from offer acceptance to their first day to address any concerns and ensure a smooth transition.
- Provide updates and reminders about important dates and required documentation.
- Facilitate relocation and other logistics if necessary.
- Internal Recruitment:
- Manage internal job postings and facilitate internal transfers and promotions.
- Coordinate with department heads to identify and move internal candidates for open positions.
- Ensure internal candidates go through the proper application and onboarding processes.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of all recruitment and onboarding activities.
- Track key metrics such as time-to-fill and candidate satisfaction.
- Provide regular reports to HR and management on recruitment and onboarding status.
- Process Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in recruitment and onboarding.
- Suggest and implement improvements to recruitment and onboarding processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in recruitment and onboarding, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and HRIS systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
