Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the sulphuric acid plant
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations and standards
- Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities
- Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions to achieve production targets
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant processes and resolve operational issues
- Train and mentor junior staff to ensure a high-performing and competent team
Qualifications
- 4-7 years of experience in the Copper Business industry
- Experience in managing operations of a sulphuric acid plant is preferred
- Demonstrated track record of maintaining high safety and environmental standards
- Proven experience in driving process improvements and operational efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering is preferred
