Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Office Assistant to join our bank team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the bank branch. The Office Assistant will support the Bank Manager and other staff members through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone
- Perform general clerical duties, such as photocopying, faxing, scanning, and filing
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the bank branch
- Maintain and update customer and employee records
- Process customer transactions and requests, such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
- Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings
- Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Perform other duties as assigned by Bank Manager
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-1 year of experience in administrative or customer service role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Knowledge of banking procedures and regulations is preferred
