Halma India:
Halma India is a subsidiary of Halma International which operates as a hub for incubating local units of international group companies. The hub provides resources for market development, technical services, software development and engineering design. It also provides guidance on India market information, business strategy start-up and statutory facilitation, payroll administration, recruitment, marketing and PR, training and development.
Halma India hub also acts as a principal distributor to stock and trade the products of International Group Companies in India. In future, the hub will also support assembly and manufacturing services. Position Objective:
- Office 365 Security Engineer to form part of the Technical Cyber Security team to provide technical expertise in the support of MS security infrastructure and services.
- Helping to mitigate risks associated with Office 365 security infrastructure and acting as a trusted advisor to the Team.
- This is a proactive role, and the successful candidate will have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and a desire to learn new technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver subject matter expertise of Office 365 with emphasis in security, architectural design, migration, management and support of implementations.
- Provide overall Office 365 security expertise including strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Microsoft cloud app security, Azure Information Protection, Data loss prevention, Information Rights Management, Intune (Conditional access/ MDM), single sign-on and multi-factor authentication and related technologies (including Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security).
- Demonstrate consultative capabilities by providing value added information to clients for connecting technology, security and the business value of Office 365.
- Lead in ongoing Office 365 security projects and strategy discussions.
- Stay abreast of all developments in Office 365, including changes & updates, roadmap & releases, and third-party solutions.
- Document Security procedures, guidelines, training material and best practices
Critical Success factors:
- Reviewing existing MS security policies in relevant MS Azure portals and implementing security remediations.
- Identification of security risks and threats to the Group.
- Identification of potential new controls that can be introduced to maintain sustainable security posture.
Academic qualification:
- BE/BTech Computer Science/Information Security degree preferred
- Relevant Microsoft cloud security certifications such as:
- MS 101 (Microsoft Mobility and Security)
- AZ 500 (Microsoft Azure Security Technologies)
Experience:
- Total experience 4 8 yrs.
- Hands on experience with MS security solutions as:
- 365 ATP Defender
- Endpoint Manager (Intune (Conditional Access MDM MAM)
- Azure AD Identity protection
- Defender for Cloud Apps
- Defender for Office 365
- Azure Sentinel
- single sign-on and multi-factor authentication and related technologies (including Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security)
- An excellent knowledge of Information Security principles and an understanding of the Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK and other information security defense and intelligence frameworks.
- Experience with scripting PowerShell
- Experience with Office 365 tenant permissions (Tenant Security & Compliance Centre Exchange Online)
- Experience with MS Clients (Outlook, Outlook for Mac, IMAP, POP3, Mobile Devices) and OneDrive for Business.
