Primary Responsibilities: Operational support for firewalls, 24x7 firewall monitoring, operation and management, responding to monitored alerts, incidents, and issues, servicing request fulfilment for firewall global policy and other security extension changes.
Additional responsibilities: Ensuring firewall services and systems are always available and reliable, managing and responding to service issues and problems, compliance to policy and guidelines of the ISMS, reporting any breaches in information security or policies.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree/College Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
Required Experience: 4-7 Years in Checkpoint
Technical skills: Expert level knowledge of Check Point firewalls, knowledge of LAN/WAN and network protocols, knowledge of monitoring tools and commands, advanced level skill in firewall policy management, ability to manage support cases with external technology vendors.
Other Qualifications: Check Point Certified, ITIL Foundation Certified.
