Job Description

  • Assessment and Evaluation:
    • Assess patients physical and mental capabilities.
    • Develop treatment plans based on individual needs, goals, and limitations.
    • Conduct home, workplace, or school assessments to evaluate patients environments and make necessary adjustments.
  • Therapeutic Intervention:
    • Design and implement customized intervention programs to improve or regain functionality.
    • Teach patients exercises and activities to enhance movement, coordination, and skills.
    • Provide adaptive equipment and train patients to use them for daily tasks.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work alongside other healthcare professionals (e.g., physicians, physical therapists) to create comprehensive care plans.
    • Engage with family members and caregivers to support patients in their recovery or adaptation process.
  • Documentation and Progress Tracking:
    • Maintain detailed records of patient progress, treatment goals, and outcomes.
    • Adjust treatment plans as needed based on patient response and progress.
  • Patient Education:
    • Educate patients and families on managing symptoms and adapting activities to improve the quality of life.
    • Offer guidance on lifestyle changes that can assist in improving health and independence.
