- Developing individualized treatment plans to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities
- Teaching patients new techniques and strategies to help them overcome physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges
- Evaluating and modifying treatment plans as needed based on patients progress
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Educating patients and their families on how to use adaptive equipment, to improve daily function
