Occupational Therapist

The Autism Centre for Excellence (ACE) is a Delhi-based not-for-profit organization launched by The Special Child Trust in 2014. ACE is dedicated to creating a program for children on the Autism Spectrum between the ages of 3 and 15 years. The program is data-driven, based on Applied Behavior Analysis principles, and aims to improve outcomes for children with moderate-to-severe autism. ACE utilizes cutting-edge research and standardized educational practices to teach functional skills and communication for independence and productivity in adulthood.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Occupational Therapist at Autism Centre for Excellence located in Gurugram. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with various developmental, cognitive, and physical disabilities. You will develop personalized treatment plans, conduct therapy sessions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications Needed :

• Pre-requisite - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy
• Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in Occupational Therapy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Patience, empathy, and compassion for patients
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to different patient needs and treatment approaches
