Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Oracle BRM (Billing and Revenue Management) Developer with a strong background in the Telecom domain. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of Oracle BRM, experience in developing, configuring, and supporting billing systems, and a proven track record of working on complex telecom billing solutions. This role requires a professional who can analyze business requirements, translate them into technical designs, and work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Develop and customize billing solutions using Oracle BRM to meet business requirements for telecom services.
- Configuration Management: Configure BRM components, including rating, discounting, billing, and invoicing modules.
- Integration: Integrate BRM with other telecom systems and third-party applications, ensuring smooth data flow and process integration.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize the performance of the BRM system to ensure efficient billing operations and scalability.
- Issue Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to billing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Testing: Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for BRM configurations and enhancements.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and support procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other development teams to understand requirements and ensure timely project delivery.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational security policies.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: 7-10 years of experience as a BRM Developer, specifically in the telecom industry.
Technical Skills:
- Oracle BRM: Expertise in Oracle BRM architecture, including pricing, discounting, invoicing, and accounts management.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in languages such as C, C++, or Java for customization and development.
- Database: Strong knowledge of databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL) for managing data related to billing and invoicing.
- Scripting: Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl) for automation tasks.
- Integration: Experience with integration tools and APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP) to connect BRM with external systems.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of telecom processes, billing cycles, and revenue management practices.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex requirements and design efficient solutions.
