Job Description

Overview

As a Nurse at our healthcare facility, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and high-quality patient care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in various clinical settings. Your strong clinical skills, empathy, and attention to detail will be key in delivering optimal healthcare outcomes to our patients.

Key responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust patient care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Adhere to evidence-based practice and regulatory standards.
  • Operate and maintain medical equipment.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety measures.
  • Ensure infection control protocols are followed at all times.
  • Conduct health screenings and assessments.
  • Assist in patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to create a positive work environment.
  • Stay updated with healthcare trends, treatments, and technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Valid nursing license in the state of practice.
  • Proven experience in a clinical nursing role.
  • Strong understanding of nursing principles and practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Empathy and compassion for patients and their families.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical software.
  • Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Keen attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical stamina and resilience to handle the demands of the role.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
