Margin & Treasury Operations (MTO) comprises of two primary function- Collateral Management & Valuations (CMV and Treasury Operations. Collateral Management is a First Line of Defence function responsible for minimizing Deutsche Bank s counterparty credit risk on its collateralized derivatives portfolio CMV is responsible for the management of banks counterparty credit by issuing and processing margin calls on a daily basis. This function provides margin processing support for bilateral and cleared OTC derivatives, LD, Repo margin, CCP Margin, Portfolio reconciliations and Dispute Investigation and Valuation Client Services. Treasury Operations is responsible for funding all of bank s Nostro Accounts and ensuring optimal utilization of bank s funds across 8000+ agent bank accounts.
The Nostro Management team is responsible for the management of the unsecured funding of Deutsche Bank. The aim of the area is to ensure that the balances on the banks main Commercial, Securities and Equities Nostro accounts are kept to a minimum and therefore the costs from overdrafts and lost opportunity are low. The tasks are performed using the strategic Global Nostro Management System (GCMS).

Your key responsibilities:
- Preparation & Monitoring of various MIS reports and thereafter perform Root Cause Analysis for long/short nostro balances.
- Regular follow -ups and interaction with different funding owners/trader/operations managers and group treasury.
- Management of CIB Nostro accounts on behalf of Global Market Finance.
- Responsible for all activities performed within the Nostro management. Functions broadly cover Funding, Reconciliations and Interest Allocation.
- Ensuring the accurate forecasting of cash positions, thus reducing the economic cost.
- Perform analysis of funding requirements.
- Production of data for the allocation of Nostro Interest to responsible business areas.
- Manage specific portfolio with the overall objective of minimizing RTB costs.
- Continually looking for opportunities to challenge, standardize and improve processes both within Nostro Funding Ops and the Business Lines that we work with.
- Providing appropriate Management Information to Business Line managers.

- Ensure adherence to all cut-off times and quality of processing as maintained in SLA.
- Fails management.
- Support Risk and Control initiatives and facilitate ongoing monitoring
- Keep all operational guidelines updated and ensure adherence to standards, procedures and also identify plan to mitigate risks where-ever there is a control issue
- Ability to interface/ partner with the onshore
- Ensure regular review and update of documents form the Business Contingency Management Perspective.
Your skills and experience:
Professional skills:
- Degree educated in Finance, Commerce or related field, or have a minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in a Banking/Finance environment.
- Multifunction Business/Product Knowledge
- Banking and Securities Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, strong Word and Excel skills required
